"How much do you need?" Buchi was back online.

I know he's a Branch Manager at Gateway Bank and from our discussion, the last time we saw, I think he's very comfortable and doing well financially.

It won't be a bad idea to get a loan from him.

I should be able to pay him back once I get the money Henshaw promised me by next month.

"Oh hi. You're back."

"How much do you need?"

Now this got me. I was kinda convinced he could help.

"I just need a loan of 70 or 80k to add to what I have at hand. I should be able to pay back by the end of next month."

"Account details."

"Ok. Kokoma Henshaw Oceanic Bank. 0123456789."

It wasn't up to five minutes and I received a credit alert of a hundred thousand naira from him.

Wow! I tried to chat him up but he was offline already so I decided to give him a call.

He finally picked after I had called three times.

"My Queen," I heard him say softly.

"Hello Buchi. Thank you so much. My account has been credited. But I asked for 80k na."

"Pretty Koko, just manage what I have. I wish I could do more at the moment," He said calmly.

"Hmm. Manage ke. When you have given me more than I need," I couldn't hide the excitement.

"Please that's my little way of supporting your business dear."

"I really do appreciate. God bless you. Just give me approximately two months from now. I should be able to pay back."

"Aww. Pretty Koko, it's a contribution not loan. Don't forget to send me pictures of your goods and let me know when they arrive so I can be your first customer."

Now I was literally speechless. Before I could organise my thoughts, I heard...

"Talk to you later my love.." and the line went dead.

Just like that. Is that how money falls from the tree?

Anyway let me call my contact quickly. There's no time to waste. The sooner the goods arrive, the sooner we start making sales.

Should I send Buchi back the money? Should I tell Henshaw about Buchi's gift? What do you think he'll say?
