WHY DID I GET MARRIED? (Part 9)

It’s been a month since I started my business and in all sincerity, God has been gracious.

Buchi has really been of great help to me. Honestly he has been very supportive. I think his patronage is second to none.

That guy is so nice. He’s even introduced me to most of his colleagues who have bought most of my products.

Right now I think the demand is gradually getting more than the supply because some of them have even made payment in advance for some goods that are yet to be delivered.

Anyway, I’m happy with the way things are going for me especially my finance.

As for Henshaw, he should just stay on his own let me maintain my own lane. I don’t want to think about anything that will upset me.

Suddenly there was a beep on my phone; it was a message from Buchi.

“Pretty Koko, how have you been? Long time no see. Do you always have to send a delivery person to bring my goods? When am I going to see your pretty face again? I miss you.”

“Hello dear,” I replied

“You didn’t answer my question”

“Lol, soon”

“How soon pls reply ASAP”

“Maybe next month”

“Are you kidding me? I’ll come and kidnap you if you say that again. And I’m not joking”

“Hahahahaa. Very funny”

“Pretty Koko, I’m not kidding. Can we see next week? You should take a break from business na. It won’t hurt you know.”

Now, this got me thinking. Buchi does have a point here. I haven’t gone out to relax in a long while.

“Babe, are you there? Talk to me pls.

“Yes, I’m here. Next week is fine.”

“Great. You’ve made my day. Don’t worry I'll make it worth your while. I promise.

“Hmm. What are you feeling like na? Lolz.

“Will Wednesday be ok for you?”

“Nope, I have some things to sort out that day. Let’s leave it for Thursday”

“Cool. I’ll text you the address.”

“Alright. Make sure it’s a good place oh. Me I can’t shout mbok.”

“Just trust me. I gat you, babe”

“Later then”
