THE YEAR SO FAR!

Twenty days done, eleven more to go.

We've gone past half of the first month so how far?

I know a lot of you made resolutions at the beginning of the year. Nice.

Have you been able to stick to it?

Congrats if you have, but if you haven't, why?

If you recall I suggested earlier in the year about making achievable resolutions.

Not joining the multitude to say things that really not feasible for you.

Take time to review your goals and resolutions for the year, it's not too late to make adjustments you know.

Evaluate yourself and restrategize, have a mapped out plan on how you want to achieve these set goals.

Go back to your drawing board and write out steps you need to make in order to accomplish these goals.

Then make deliberate effort and actions in line with these steps.

One of my resolutions was the gratitude jar and I can proudly beat my chest that I have started it and I'm progressing too.

Has January given you any reason to be grateful?

Before you say no, think again.

Hey, you're alive, that's a testimony don't you think?

Well, this is just a reminder for you to keep pushing.

Don't give up.

Stay strong.

Yes, you can and you will overcome if you keep at it.

Have a blessed and fruitful week ahead.

A POEM OF GRATITUDE

GIVE THANKS

If you woke up this morning, give thanks, many slept last night but didn’t wake up.

If you have good health and a sound mind, give thanks, many are sick and laying in the hospital bed.

If you have a roof over your head, give thanks, many are homeless and sleeping by the wayside.

If you have a meal each day, give thanks, many are not sure of their meal.

If you can eat any food no matter how little, give thanks, many have food but cannot eat because of their health.

If you have anyone who cares about you, give thanks, many are alone and have no one around them.

If you can walk about freely without aid, give thanks, many can only go where they are taken because they cannot walk.

If you are alive, give thanks, many are long gone and do not have the opportunity of life ever again.

Whatever situation you find yourself in, give thanks, because you are still better than many.

Give thanks at all times, a heart of gratitude makes room for more blessings.

    1. Okay dear.
It is something a friend introduced me to.
I have a container where I put what I am grateful for after writing it on a sticky note.
i did it daily from the 1st of January to the 31st of December 2020.
it helped me to complain less and be more appreciative.
I usually do it at the end of the day before I go to bed.
irrespective of how the day went, I just write down something I am grateful for. i Think you should give a trial. I have testimonies from this too.
