Valentine's Day has come and gone though the memories are still very fresh for those who marked it in various ways.

About yesterday, my day started out smoothly.

Yes I dressed in red and white, in the spirit of Valentine, call it a clichรฉ but you can't blame me.

All the same I arrived my office and saw two love notes on my desk, one from the company, the other from an anonymous colleague.

After reading them I started feeling all mushy.

Don't mind me, I just love love.

While at work I sent hubby a love note.

And it goes thus:

For all the times you made me smile...

For all the times you made me laugh...

For all the times you made me happy...

For all the times you made my heart beat fast...

For all the times you made me feel special...

For all the times you made me feel loved...

For all the times you filled my thoughts...

For all the times you wrapped me in love...

For all the times I wished you were mine alone...

For all the times you held me in your arms...

For all the times you gave me warmth...

For all the times you wiped away my tears...

For all the times you gave me a shoulder to lean on...

For the times you were my escape route...

For all the times you were my obsession...

For all the times you were my fantasy...

For all the times you   came through for me...

For all the times you gave up something for me...

For all the love we shared...

For everything you are to me...

For being you...
For you...

Thank you

Happy Valentine's Day.

Lovely right?

Well he sent a romantic reply which I'll share after reading your comments.

Anyway, we finally were able to hangout at the last minute because he returned home late due to traffic.

We drove out at about a few minutes past midnight to our favorite pizza and shawarma spot, chilled in the car while listening to cool music and munching our goodies.

Please don't ask me what happened in the car after we finished eating.

But we drove home with me standing with my head out of the roof of the car and waving to the stars and moon in the sky feeling like The First Lady of a country on a ceremonial visit.

Finally got home before 4am and continued from where we stopped.

In all, it was a good day and I'm glad it was a Friday else most of us won't have enjoyed it as we did.

Well, for those who didn't go anywhere I hope you had fun indoors.

Please don't wait for someone to give you a treat before you can have fun.

Life's too short to deny yourself of pleasure.

And yes I'd love to know how you spent your Valentine's Day, that's for those who think it's worthy of celebrating.

As for those who don't, I hope you're having a pleasant weekend and getting as much rest as you desire.
