TALES OF A TEENAGE GIRL 1

I was on my way to visit a friend who lives not too far away when I met her.

She sat beside me in the tricycle I boarded and though I didn't take cognisance of her beauty initially, she seemed like an active and happy little girl if you ask me.

At first, I didn't really take note of anything about her except for the fact that she was pressing her phone all through the ride.

We got to the last bus stop and alighted then surprisingly we both boarded another tricycle together.

I smiled at her when I noticed it was the same pretty face from the previous ride.

She was so engrossed in the conversation she was having with someone on her phone and it was obvious she was chatting with a guy from the way she was blushing, chuckling and smiling at various intervals.

It was at this point that I did the unthinkable.

You would not believe what I did.

I immediately pulled off my wedding ring from my fourth left finger and hid it inside my bag, making sure she didn't see me anyway.

I know you are wondering why I did that, well I have my reasons.

This pretty teenage girl reminded me so much of my daughter and I suddenly had the urge to talk with her but didn't want to scare her away if she notices that I am a mother so I decided to hide that identity first.

My intent was to become friendly with her and build from there.

She received a call from whoever she was chatting with and I heard her say, "I'm almost there na, why are you calling? Just relax I will be with you in the next few minutes. Oya come back online let's continue chatting till I get there. "

At this moment I had this impression that she was going to visit the guy she had been chatting. We were almost at the bus stop so I had to act fast.

I pretended like I was searching for my phone inside my bag and then I asked for her help, "Hello dear, please could you help me call my phone? I am worried I may have left my phone in the last Keke."

Now, this got her and she dialed my number after I called it out to her.

We both were relieved when my phone rang from inside my bag though mine was a false relief.

I thanked her and somehow we started a conversation from there. Her name is Stephanie and she's in J.S.S 3 in one of the private schools around.

By the time we got to the bus stop we had become friends and I told her i would keep in touch.

  1. So you pretended and lied to be her friend...

LOL I just joking. We do what we have to do to get their attention right? Okay, now I sound like I have a teenager at home, meanwhile, I've never been pregnant before

    Nice read!
