WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT CHILDREN?
Hey, Hey, Hey!
Let the drums roll!
Blow the trumpet!
Ring the bells!
Shake the Tambourine!
It's the 27th of May! If you're asking what's so special about this day, then you have no idea!
Hey! It's Children's Day!!!
The 27th of May has been set aside to celebrate children all over the world and that makes this day an exceptional one. Children are our future and our inheritance. I can confidently say that without them, this world would not exist.
Let's analyze it well, if you take away all the children and leave only adults on earth, soon they will grow old and die and the world will be empty.

Food for thought right?
From the conception of a child, through the gestation period, up till delivery and raising of that child, the process is a big mystery and very distinctive.
This is part of what makes every child unique and special. Every home that has a child is blessed because their presence brings joy, laughter, happiness and is a sign of continuity and hope.
Really the gift of children cannot be overemphasized and that is why it is paramount that we give them nothing but the best and ensure that they live free, happy and purposeful wherever they are.
Every child is entitled to love, care, affection, good health, good food, family, sound education, safety, basic needs of life, good governance, peace and a lot more.

So the next time your child asks you for something, please don't deny him/her as long as you can afford it please make it available. Our children are precious, also be rest assured that your labour of love will not be in vain.
I would also like to send a message of love to those who are yet to have their own children, as you have children around you, whether your niece, nephew, cousin, neighbor, please do not hesitate to show them love and ensure their safety no matter where they are especially those who are not living with their biological parents due to circumstances beyond their control.
Paschal, Kosisochukwu and Henry
We have heard stories of children who were well raised by guardians and at the end of the day they become shinning stars and the pillar of the families that raised them.
My message today is Love. Show a little more love to children around you. Children who are groomed in love always make a difference. After all love conquers all.
Another special shout out to those raising children with special needs. I won't lie, this is a very challenging task for any individual and extra grace is necessary for this.
It is not easy to take care of a child with disability, down syndrome, autism, or any other form of uncommonness. It takes a lot of patience and is very demanding.
Children with special needs
I doff my hat for you as a sign of respect and acknowledgement for your strength. I am sending you loads of love, hugs and kiss and I pray that God strengthens you and supplies all you need to raise them to full potential. You are the real MVPs!
Enough of the long talk please. My task for you today is, make, at least, a child happy today! Whether yours or not!
I know there is lock down and social distance, you must not take them anywhere today, but you can buy them a gift or anything you know would make them happy. Trust me, their prayers and blessings go a long way.

So this is me saying a big HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY to every child in the world. May you live a long and fulfilled life and may your days bring blessing to humanity.
