QUOTES ABOUT LIFE TO GET YOU GOING!
Hello My Lovely Tory lovers!
I hope this wonderful post meets you in good health and sound mind. Today's post is just to brighten your day and put a big fat smile on your beautiful face.
I want to share a few quotes, or should I call them wise sayings, that will help you keep your head up and get you going in life. You see, life itself is a mystery, filled with ups and downs, and nobody knows it all. That is why we need each other to enable us pull through situations and challenges we encounter.
So, here are the quotes, coined by yours truly and I hope you learn a lesson or two from them:
1. "Silence is not always the answer, Speak up!"
Even the Bible says that there is time for everything. According to Ecclesiastics 3:7, "...a time to be quiet and a time to speak."
This simply implies that you should use your number 6 to deduce when you should not be silent. The era of dying in silence has gone. If you are in a bad situation and urgently need someone's intervention or assistance, please ask. You don't know where your help will come from. Open your mouth and express yourself, the solution to your problem may be next to you.
2. "If you love someone say it, don't delay"
Telling someone how you feel doesn't reduce your life span. Sometimes I wonder what holds people back from expressing their feelings, especially to the opposite sex. If the feeling is not mutual, you will be told and at that point you can move on with your life and find someone else, at least then you can be sure that you have made effort. But if you do not open up, you will never have a chance with that person. No, does not kill, it only helps you get stronger.
3."Life is too short to be too serious. Take time and have fun."
Let me specific here, there are some people who are naturally rigid, as in, stiff, fixed, unbending. To them having a little fun is a no-no. Honestly, I feel for such people. I hope you are not one of them, anyway if you are, you should have a rethink after reading this. Like I said earlier, there is time for everything, there is a time when you should let down your guard and have fun. Having fun is not a sin. Take time to relax and enjoy yourself, life is not all about seriousness every time. And if you know someone in this category please encourage them to loosen up. Laughter is medicine to the soul.
4. "Learn to say I'm sorry when you hurt someone!"
Okay on a more serious note now, why do some people find it difficult to apologize when they offend someone? Anyway, the only reason I can give is pride. We all know what is being said about the proud, it always leads to a downfall. Apologizing is one feature of a responsible person, it doesn't make you smaller neither does it reduce your age nor put a hole in your pant/boxers. Remember, 'pride goes before a fall'.
5. Let me digress a little, this last quote is for those who are in a romantic relationship, "If you cannot fart in his or her presence, please don't say I do!"
I know it sounds funny right? Well, if I don't tell you the truth, how will you know? There are some people who are so pretentious even to the detriment of their well being. First of all, farting is natural emission of air from your anus and everybody does it. As a matter of fact, anyone who doesn't fart is not healthy. Yes, I said so, with all my chest! When you meet the man/woman of your dreams, please don't hesitate or release this air in their presence so that they can accept you for who you truly are. Don't say I didn't tell you, Fart helps the relationship get stronger, ask my hubby, he knows!
On a final note, I hope you picked a lesson from these awesome quotes that I took time to drop for you. If I don't help you, who will? That's why I am always here for you.You can drop your thanks in the comment section and let me know if you need more quotes/lessons for life.
