HANDLING NEGATIVE VIBE
Happy New Year once again to all those who have been out of town and are just returning to base. Welcome back. I hope you had an awesome Christmas break.
For those who have been busy all year round, I doff my cap for you.
We're already 12 days gone in the year 2021, our special year. Let me tell you sincerely, COVID-19 is just barking, it will not take this year from us like it did with 2020. I said in my First post of 2021 that we will conquer this year.
I wasn't kidding oh. And I am still rooting for everyone who has decided to be intentional this year and those determined to key into our New Year, New Vibe motto.
Now, one of the things you need to take note of this year is what you pay attention to. Okay, let me break to down, do you know how powerful the words are? The kind of words you expose yourself to or listen to can either encourage or discourage you. This is one of the reasons why I always remind you to stay positive.
You cannot deny the fact that once in a while, you would look out for people's opinions or suggestions on certain issues of life. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that but the reality is that there are a lot of people who specialize in giving negative feedback, report, comments that can be both discouraging and demoralizing.
Quick question, do you have someone who never believes in your ability? I mean a family member, friend, colleague, neighbour, or even church member who always has something negative to say? Come to think of it, don't we all have that one person that is a constant negative vibe?
Your clothes are never perfect for this person. Your ideas are never good enough for them. You are always the least qualified for them. Your appearance? Nah, they never see anything to compliment about you.
As a matter of fact, you may even be in a relationship which this Negative Viber! Haven't we heard of what is called Toxic Relationship? A partner that keeps telling you how inadequate and insufficient you are. Need I say more? You know exactly who I am talking about. That particular person that drains you emotionally, and seizes your peace of mind, now that's the negative person I am referring to.
Sweetheart, this 2021 is not for negative vibe! Should I say it again?
2021 IS NOT FOR NEGATIVE VIBE!
If you want to Conquer this year, here is a list of people you should say NO to:
NO to that family member, friend, or colleague that doubts your ability.
NO to that neighbour that always brings only negative or sad news.
NO to that friend that discourages from taking the next big step, they prefer you to remain stagnant.
NO to that colleague who never sees anything good in what you do, your ideas and opinions are always invalid to them.
NO to that your contact that only shares bad news on their WhatsApp status or sends gory pictures and videos to your DM.
NO to that acquaintance that doesn't want you to try something new because you are not good enough.
NO to that church member that brings negative gist about others and always points out things the church is doing wrong.
NO to the toxic relationship that gives you sleepless nights and drains you mentally, emotionally and even financially.
NO to that partner that devalues you and makes you feel less of yourself.
NO to that friendship that consistently gives a headache and doesn't help you grow, improve, or get better.
NO to anyone who makes it a duty to always look down on or belittle you.
NO to that man or woman that claims to be the pillar of your life, they believe that without them you will never amount to anything good. (They think they are the light of your life. Please let them off their light, you now have gen and you have bought fuel.) Lolz
At this point, I think you have had enough of Negativity. So you should be shutting them out once and for all. The longer you expose yourself to negative words, the greater the negative effect it will have on you.
I need you to confidently place your right hand on your chest and say, I am Enough! If you believe this, then start working on you and take that big leap you have always been contemplating on. Like I said at the beginning of the year, JUST DO IT!
Well, I'll see you in the comment section, but don't forget to stay positive always and be safe.
Hey Darling, yes you, The Tory Teller loves you and is rooting for you!
Sending you a Truckload of love and light!
