NEW YEAR, NEW VIBE!

It's another Monday morning on this side of the globe. The first Monday of the year as a matter of fact. Should we call this a Monday Motivation? Well, maybe, if it will charge you up, why not. Anything for you my Darling Tory Lovers.

But I must remind you that the day of the week should not determine what sparks action in you. You don't need to limit yourself to any particular day.

Now that brings me to the message I want to share with you today.

I really don't want to sound like the motivational speakers with the 'aspire to perspire' message but I want to encourage you to take a bold step this year. Often times, I love to use myself as an example. From experience, I have learnt that there really is no better time than now. The more you wait for the perfect time, the higher your chances of not getting anything done. 

Let me be honest with you, I have been a victim of procrastination so I know where I am speaking from. I wouldn't say I have many regrets but it has helped me to learn lessons that have shaped my future decisions.

Like I stated in my first post of the year, you can read it up here, the main purpose of this blog is to help us learn lessons from life's experiences. Having said that, I want you to take time and review your performance last year, I am sure there are areas you would like to improve on.

It could be your finance, health, relationship, career, spiritual life, business, or any other aspect of your life. The truth is, you know yourself better than any other person and the sooner you tell yourself the truth, the better for you.

If you want to conquer this year, you have to be intentional and take deliberate steps to improve these aspects of your life as you deem fit. Set personal goals and draw up a plan on how you want to go about it, then allocate a timeline to these plans. Some of us are coconut heads, like me, and we need accountability partners. Find one, and feel free to reach out to me if you need help with finding one. There are times you would need someone to constantly keep you in check. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. That's why I am here, to help, support, encourage, and push you until you get to where you want to be.

Our plans for conquering this 2021 can only be achieved if we take action as soon as possible. The year is not too young for us to start, like I stated earlier, there is no better time than now.

So what exactly are you scared of? What's holding you back? Do you think you will fail?

Hold your horses! Let me ask you this, what if you excel? What if you succeed? What if you get that job? What if you get accepted? What if you get a yes? What if you get the contract?

Well, you will never know unless you try. So resist that negative thought and give it a trial. All you need to succeed is inside of you so just put one step ahead of the other as we move forward together! Yes, you can! That should be your mindset.

Okay, I didn't plan for this post to be lengthy but then, here you have. Do me a favour, place your right hand on your chest, and say, "I will do it because I can do it."
