VALENTINE SPECIAL: My Love for YOU!

Hey Lovers!

It's Velentine's Day. Yippe!!!

Yes, it's Valentine's day and we both know that almost everyone everywhere has been stung by the love bug, and has been somehow infected by the Valentine fever. I am not sure that all those stung by this bug will get over it today, or next week or by the end of the month.

I know the whole hype about February 14, it's everywhere. Left, right, up, down. The world at large has love on their lips for the rest of today, even though they have no idea of the origin of the Valentine celebration or what love is really about. How sad!

Last year, I took time to ask a few people what love meant to them and I think their responses may not be far from what you have in mind. You can read that up What love is all about.

In a nutshell, let me state that Love is an action word. You cannot claim to love without an action attached to it. Love centers around giving, caring, sharing, it goes beyond the word of mouth. You cannot say you love someone and your action proves otherwise.

Okay, I didn't plan to be a preacher of love today because I already have people I want to celebrate as a way of expressing my love to them especially for the support I receive from them on this blog. But I promise you that subsequently, I will share more about this love matter, it's a promise, you know I always keep to my word. Just ensure that you have subscribed to this blog by clicking the subscribe button at the top so that you won't miss my special love tale.

So here's me wishing you a Happy Valentine! Even if no other person says this to you today, remember that you are special, you are unique and you are loved, never forget that. Thank you for sharing a few minutes of today with me, it means a lot to me.

Today's post is dedicated to a few friends and acquaintances who have not only been a support to me are passionate about themselves because the truth is, you cannot give what you don't have. It is not possible to love another when you don't even love yourself. So I would like to introduce these special people.

Let me start with my girlfriend Ayobami Folakemi Fasusi who just unveiled her relationship blog today. Do me a favour and pay her a visit. I promise you that you will have a fantabulous experience on Kemiclassico.com.

So y'all, I would like you to meet Joy Chime, an editor and poet par excellence. You can listen to her lovely poems on JoyToTheWords. You will just fall in love with her!

3 things she loves about herself are her laughter, her Self Awareness, and her fingers. (I won't deceive you, they are really gorgeous).

Without much ado, here's a shout out to my dear friend, Jeremiah Adeyemi. He is the CEO of  JayTee Hub an online store with amazing clothing and accessories. When asked what he loves about himself, Jeremiah says, " I love my resilience, never-dying spirit, I love me for being a goal-getter and for always trying out things even when they say it won't work."

Now that's a true resilient person speaking!

Another shout out goes to dear Oyinkansola Onimole. This is what she says about herself: "I am beautiful, I have a positive aura, I love to make money and be independent, I love my smartness and my forehead.

Okay, the last one got me smiling. Have you ever stood in front of the mirror to admire the work of the Almighty Creator? Hmm. If you haven't please do ASAP. Remember that you are wonderfully and fearfully made in the image and likeness of God! Do not let anyone tell you otherwise, You Are a Work of Art, periodt!

No, I am not done celebrating fabulous people. Here's a special shout out to my paddy, Munachi Kyrian. She is the CEO of  Manchy Stitches and she says, "I love me because I'm kind, very understanding, intelligent, beautiful, hardworking and I can tolerate different kinds of people." She also says she is humble. Emm! Okay, let me just keep kwayet!

So there's this certain OAP, badass one for that matter. Her name is Kelechi Chukwuma. You can listen to her on Let's Gist with Kaycee. You should listen to her talk. It's one of her strengths you know. She says, "I am easy to open up to, I have a lovely voice and I am smart."

How won't people open up to you when you have used your voice to charm them? Lolz. Just kidding!

The last person to be celebrated today is no other than, Chisom Matthew-Ani the CEO of Sommie's One Stop Shop. She says: "3 things I love about myself are, my smile, my inner strength from God, and my perspective of life which is life for God, myself and my family."

Love for God and Family, what beats that?

Well, what more can I say? So the question is, what do you love about you? I would really love to hear from you my darling. It's the season of love you know, do well to show love to people around you and don't limit it to 14th February, love should be an unlimited expression. It should be done at any time and any place.

You can show love through your words and deeds. Be mindful of the things you say to people, remember that words are powerful and you can actually use your tongue to commit murder unintentionally or unknowingly.

So I need you to make a conscious commitment to be kind with your words and deeds. Let people around you feel the love from you by your actions, like I stated earlier, Love is an Action word!

The Tory Teller loves you and is always rooting for you!
